Professor Azubeze Adogu, MD

The executive director of DMGS Endowment Fund is Beze Adogu, MD, PhD (cantab), FACP, who entered Grammar School in 1970 following a peripatetic primary school career, mostly at All Saints’ Primary School, Onitsha, right across the (Awka) road from DMGS. Whilst at Grammar School he was domiciled to Tugwell House, was a long-term library curator, and held several leadership positions in the 1st Onitsha Boys’ Scouts Troop and the Society for Promoting African Culture. After Higher School at Government College Umuahia, he entered medical school at Jos, followed by postgraduate studies at Cambridge, where he was Her Majesty’s Scholar in Medicine. He is presently the chief medical director of Athens Kidney Center and concurrently serves as clinical professor of medicine at the Medical College of Georgia-University of Georgia medical partnership.
